OUR FAMILY
In our classroom, we work together as a family. It takes people working together and caring about one another to make a successful and smooth running family. Everyone in this class has an important role they must play in our family.
Chores
Each family member is responsible for the upkeep of our room and all that is inside it. Chores or jobs will be given on a weekly basis. Chores will be rotated, so that each member has a chance to help take care of that area of our room. A big sister and brother will be chosen weekly to over see that all chores are completed. This information is reported at the end of the week to me. Jobs are posted in the room for students to refer to.
Allowance
After each week is completed, family members will be issued an allowance in the form of a check. Each member will be given $1 a day for successfully completing their chore. Those who forget to take care of their job, will not be payed for that day. Completing & returning homework, turning in signed prescriptions, having assignment notebooks signed daily are other ways in which members can earn money toward their allowance.
Deductions
Family members choosing not to complete assignments will be issued a fine notice. This notice will be given with the checks on a weekly basis. A work notice slip will go out immediately if assigned work is either incomplete or not done. Students will have one grace period day to turn that assignment in. A fine is given if the assignment is not turned in on the day and period the work was due.
