2 Point Perspective Drawing Lesson

Overview:

Students will discover how using 2-point perspective assists in rendering a landscape drawing. 

   

Objectives:

1. Students will see the steps to create a 2-point perspective drawing.

2. Students will see the techniques for creating the illusion of depth in a drawing.

3. Students will discover how to use both geometric and organic shapes to create a   
    landscape drawing.

Overview:

Students will be able to create a logo or symbol that is self-expressive and transfer the 2-color image to a T-shirt through silkscreen printing.

   

Objectives:

1. Students will understand the purpose of a logo.

2. Students will create a logo or symbol that expresses their interests or personality.

3. Students will learn how to transfer the image to a T-shirt using the silkscreen process.

Potter’s Wheel Lesson

Overview:

Students will see that they can create a work of art that can be functional in use, simple in structure and inspiring. 

 

Objectives:
1. Students will learn the uses of the potter’s wheel throughout history and cultures.
2. Students will learn basic procedures for working on the potter’s wheel.
3. Students will learn how to create a cylinder and a bowl with a lid on the wheel.

Students will see that they can create a work of art in 2 ways; a drawing and from that drawing, a sculpture. 

 

Objectives :
1. Students will study the how to draw the animal of their choice from basic shapes and lines.
