Star of the Week

"Star of the Week"

     In the classroom, we have a bulletin board dedicated to one child for two weeks at a time to help us get to know each other and to help build each child's self-esteem.  This bulletin board will give each child a place to share family photos, drawings, hobbies, and so on with their classmates.

     The featured student should bring in photos, drawings, or items to be placed under each title card:

        1.  Where I live

        2.  My family

        3.  Special friends

        4.  My favorite food

        5.  What I want to be

        6.  My hobbies/interests

    I will send home a note in advance when your child is scheduled for "Star of the Week."  Please send in photos, drawings, and/or items on the first day of the week.  Please remember that I will staple the pictures to the bulletin board.  If you do not want staple holes in your pictures, please attach them to an index card or paper so that they can be stapled.
