Hello, my name is Mrs. Gale Reeve. I attended Roaring Spring Elementary School, Roaring Spring Junior High School, and graduated from Central High School. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University and a Masters Degree from Penn State University in Curriculum and Instruction with an Early Childhood Emphasis. I have been teaching for Spring Cove since 1974. Prior to teaching the all day kindergarten class at Martinsburg Elementary, I worked as an Instructional Support Teacher for all three elementary schools in the district, a first grade, second grade, and 1/2 day sessions kindergarten teacher.
I live in Martinsburg with my husband, Richard, and cat, Tinker. We have two daughters, Jennifer and Erin, who both are married and live in Ohio. We have one grandchild, Ada, who was born on June 25th of this year and we welcome a second grandchild in April, 2009.
When I am not teaching, I love to be outdoors, visit my daughters and their families, do handcrafts and cooking. Teaching young children is my passion. I am constantly amazed with how much they know and how quickly they can learn. I truly believe every child has a special gift to offer each of us. I look forward to each day of teaching and learning with them.
