Homework is graded as completed.  The nature of homework is for practice and mistakes are expected.  The student earns their grade if a genuine attempt is made.   Each student receives 100 points and each time  they do not complete or do not have their homework; they are deducted 5 points from their grade.

Classroom participation is graded similar to homework.  It is graded through  teacher observation and the student will be warned and then told they have lost participation points.  I will make note of deductions in their assignment books.

Writing assignments are graded on the PSSA rubric model.

All other assignments are graded on percentage of points.
