Celebrating Birthdays At School
We enjoy celebrating your child‘s birthday at school. To help you in preparing for a successful celebration here are a few reminders.
*It is appreciated knowing that a snack is being sent in. If at all possible, please send a note a day or two ahead so time is planned for it.
*Birthday treats may be sent in with the student or dropped off in the office. Please plan to drop them off between
8:20 a.m.
and
9:00 a.m.
This will allow us to enjoy the treat when it suits best without being rushed and also work around itinerant schedules.
*If you wish to send in a drink, please send easy to use containers such as Little Hugs and straws or juice boxes with attached straws.
*When your child brings a treat for his/her birthday it is appreciated if you send napkins along also.
*Cupcakes are often very messy for the children to eat so it is appreciated if you send items that won‘t easily crumble such as cookies, Rice Krispy Treats, or brownies.
*It is recommended to send in several "extra" treats as we do occasionally have a "spill" that we need to replace.
