All About Mrs. Hoover
Recognize me?
Let me take a moment to introduce myself and tell you a little about myself. I’m Candy Hoover and I live in the Martinsburg area with my husband, Don. We have two children, Leah and Matt, and also two dogs. My son's leopard gecko, Marley, is with us also some of the time. My interests include spending time with my family, attending athletic events of the Scarlet Dragons of Central High School, and working with technology. (I also have an extreme passion for dogs!) I currently teach kindergarten at
Martinsburg
Elementary School
. Previously, I had taught Gifted Support Technology, emphasizing technology with students in all three of our elementary buildings, and first grade at
Martinsburg
Elementary School
and at the former
Benson
Elementary School
. I am on the Learning Team at Martinsburg Elementary and I also serve as the systems operator (sysop) for the computers at Martinsburg Elementary. In May 2007 I was honored to be chosen as Spring Cove School District 2007 Educator of the Year. Thank you! Click here for more information about the award.
