Welcome to Kindergarten at Martinsburg Elementary School and thank you for visiting my homepage. Kindergarten is the official beginning of your child’s academic life. It’s also a time when social skills are also learned and polished. It may even be the first time your child has spent much time interacting with peers. Parents: If we miss a scheduled day of school due to snow, etc. we will make up that day either at the end of the school year or on the scheduled make-up day. That means if school is cancelled on a Day 4 when we return to school it is now Day 5. The Day 4 schedule will take place either at the end of school or on the scheduled snow make-up day.
