Meet Mrs. Ayers

     Hi! My name is Barb Ayers.  I live in Roaring Spring with my husband and our dog, Oreo.  We have two children: Lisa married to Andy and Mark married to Pam.  We have three grandchildren: Kaitlyn - 12 years old, Lauren - 10 years old and Kirsten - 4 years old.

     This will be my 24th year teaching fourth grade in the Spring Cove School District.  I graduated from Central High School in 1977 and from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1981.  I did some day to day substitute work before becoming a full time sub in Spring Cove and then in the Williamsburg School District.  In 1986, I was hired to teach fourth grade in the Spring Cove School District.

     In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, sudoku and crossword puzzles and watching Penn State and Steeler football.

     I am looking forward to another exciting year in fourth grade!
