Our goal is for each student to read at least 25 books this year. The books are from my classroom collection and the school library. All our books are in the process of being leveled. Your child will take a placement test online to determine his/her wide range of readability. He/she will choose books in his/her level, and read them at school. (I have scheduled at least 20 min. a day.) When a student finishes reading a book he/she will get on the Ac. R. website and take a test on it. I will keep records for each student of which books have been read and the score acquired on each test- 85% or above is the goal. In my class these books will also count for Book-It.
