Please discuss with your child's doctor the latest 2 school immunization recommendations that will soon be requirements:

1.  Beginning in the 2010-2011 school year, children in 7th grade will be required to have 2 vaccines called Tdap (Tetanus, diptheria, acellular pertussis) and MCV ( Meningococcal ConjugateVaccine)

2.  Beginning in the 2010-2011 school year, children in ALL grades will be required to have a second dose of varicella (chickenpox) vaccine unless your child has had the chickenpox disease.

**Reminder:  The school nurse will need a written copy of ALL of your child's vaccines to update his/her school health record.
