I have been teaching in the Spring Cove School District for 12 years. I was the Learning Support Teacher at East Freedom Elementary School, serving the students at the Resource Level for grades K-3 and the Itinerant Level for grade K-5. I am currently an Instructional Support Teacher at Roaring Spring Elementary School and Martinsburg Elementary School. I will be servicing students in grades K-5 at Roaring Spring and students in grades 3-5 at Martinsburg.
I received a B.S. in Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in May 1991. I received certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I received my Masters in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in May 1999. My certification is in Special Education. I am currently attending conferences and workshops to stay active in my field.
I am married and have 2 children. My husband, Scott, and I reside in Williamsburg, PA. Our children are Nickolas (6 years old) and Anna-Jean (4 years old). Nickolas will be in first grade this year, and Anna-Jean will be in preschool.
I believe that all children can learn and have the right to learn. The students I work with are included for all activities and classes that are possible.
