The 1st Grade Social Studies Curriculum will cover the following topics throughout the school year:

Scholastic Speak Out!	Grades 1-2. Students vote on a topic and can then view a bar graph to interpret the results of the voting.
Whitehouse for Kids	You'll find information about the White House, the Presidents, the First Ladies, the children who grew up there, as well as, their pets!
Time for Kids.com	This is what we use in our classroom right now.  Keep up to date on current events.
National Geographic	Every elementary school teacher and kid should visit this site.
