  
Several teams of Spring Cove students filmed and submitted videos in the Blair County Department of Solid Waste and Recycling Environmental Awareness Video Contest. Three teams won awards in their respective age groups.
Lexie Wyandt and Megan Shingler's commercial, "Recycling Rappers", placed second in the middle school division.
Elissa Creitz, Olivia Bosar, Sam Bumbarger, Steven Bowman, and Matthew Knuass placed third in the middle school division with their commercial, "Recycling Rules".
Ellie King, Anna Ormsby, Meggie Stern, and Alex Garver placed third in the elementary level division with their commercial titled "Recycling Can Can".
