Sophomore English teacher Mrs. Bree McCloskey organized Central High School’s first African American Read-In on February 4 as part of black history month. The majority of the school student body as well as faculty joined over one million voices across the nation celebrating African American literacy. Participants gathered in the auditorium throughout the day to read and listen to selections written by African Americans.
