On November 5, students from Miss McElhatten's language arts classes and their parents gathered for an evening celebration of literacy in the SCMS library. Students presented sample lessons, memoirs and projects to their parents, and parent knowledge was put the test in a fun game of Are You Smarter Than a 7th Grader.
