Fall 2009 Adult Computer Classes



Adult Education Course Offerings  Fall 2009
     Classes are held at the Cove Educational Community Center located next to the Spring Cove Middle School in at 185 Spring Cove Drive in Roaring Spring. Enrollment is open to Spring Cove residents as well as residents of other school districts.  

     To register, email aroth@scsd.k12pen.com and provide the name of the class or classes along with your name, address, phone number and email address.  To register by phone, call 224-7579 and provide your name, phone number and the name of the class that you would like to attend.  The registration fee will be collected on the first night of class (checks payable to SCSD).

 

 Class Participants: click the names of highlighted courses to gain access to course materials.
Login information is provided to course participants during the first class session.
 

PC Basics Part I 
December 1 & 3, 2009  6:00-8:00 PM $20.00
This class is for new computer users and for people who find using a computer frustrating. Topics will include: opening and closing programs, left and right mouse buttons, creating folders, opening and saving files, and accessing the Internet.  The class will meet two nights and will use the Windows XP operating system.

 

PC Basics Part II   
December 8 & 10, 2009 6:00-8:00 PM $20.00
This class is for people who find using a computer frustrating or for people who would like to learn more about using a computer.  Topics will include:  customizing the desktop, screen savers, creating folders, scanning your computer for harmful programs and files and what to do when things go wrong.  The class will meet two nights and will use the Windows XP operating system
