US History Page
This is a required history course. The purpose is to examine the origins of U.S. history, early government, important geographic locations and the cultures that helped establish the U.S. identity. Among the topics of study are: the colonization of the Americas, growing troubles in the colonies, the Revolutionary War, the birth and growth of government, slavery, and the beginnings of the Civil War.
