For Red Ribbon Week 2007, SADD members participated in whiteout day to represent the deadly effects of drugs and alcohol.
SADD members Brandy Lane, Suzanna Stern, and Lauren Dillon present a $600.00 check to the Martinsburg VFW Post for the Operation Uplink Project. Thanks to all CHS students and staff who donated to this patriotic cause!

HAT DAY sponsored by SADD. For a $1.00 donation, students were able to wear their favorite hats for the day. Here are some of our favorites. All proceeds benefited the Operation Uplink project.

SADD Officers delivered over 50 presents to the Blair County Courhouse on December 23rd to Judge Jolene Kopriva's Family Drug Court Program. Thanks to SADD members, CHS students, and CHS staff for your donations! You helped to make the holiday season a little merrier for children in this program.

HUGS & KISSES for sale! For Valentine's Day, SADD members sold bags of Hershey Kisses and Hugs for .50 cents. All proceeds from the sale go directely into the SADD activities fund.
SADD members Brittany Myers, Anna Gallagher, and Karissa Brumbaugh (absent from the photo) created this bulletin board for the month of February entitled, "Teen Love". This public awareness board addresses the characteristics of healthy and unhealthy teen relationships. A resource table also had handouts available for students on self-esteem, coping with a break-up, and how to have a healthy relationship!

WHITEOUT DAY 2005: To help celebrate Red Ribbon Week, SADD members painted their faces white and wore tombstones to represent the statistics of lives lost to drugs and alcohol.

CHS PENNY WAR: FBLA President Megan Byler and SADD President Janelle Ayers hand over a check for $1,707.60 to the American Red Cross. The CHS Penny War collected the money to help those individuals affected by Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf Coast Region. What a fantastic effort by the CHS Student Body!

In addtion, CHS Students and Staff were invited to place the name of a special person on theTtree of Life in "honor of" or in "rememberance of" that persons' special meaning in their lives.

Chief Hoover and Mrs. Thompson (SADD Advisor) posing with the collected food drive items. 1,638 items were collected by CHS students!!
