SENIOR ANNOUNCEMENTS
Any senior who did NOT receive an order form for Graduation Announcements should pick one up in the office.
PSSA EFFORTS
All students have been busy preparing for the Pennsylvania mandated proficiency test. Eligible seniors took the re-take in late October. Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen will take their second round of the practice 4- Sight test beginning November 15th. These results are used to plan additional remediation for those in need and to plan improvements in CHS curriculum.
MAKE-UP WORK
Due to the large number of requests, and the variation in times teachers are available during the day, you may have quicker results obtaining missed assignments for students by e-mailing teachers directly for any make-up work. All teacher addresses are listed on our website under “CONTACTS.”
If e-mailing is not possible, PLEASE allow for at least 24 hours or longer to process requests for work when students are absent.
FYI—The SCSD School Board and Administration are currently considering stiffer penalties for in-school cell phone use. Watch for announcements.
