Course Scheduling & Course Descriptions



 COURSE SCHEDULING

Scheduling of courses is a process that begins in the fall and continues into the Spring Semester.  Counselors meet with students yearly to review graduation credits, current academic standing, discuss career plans and plan a tentative schedule for the following school year.  Parents are encouraged to call the guidance office to schedule a conference with their child's counselor to discuss options.  Course schedules for students are typically finalized over the summer months.  If you should have any questions regarding course scheduling, please call the CHS Guidance Office at 793-2111.

Students who are interested in attending the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center should visit the website below for specific information.  Applications are available in the guidance office in January of every school year.  Application deadline is February 14th.
