District Commitment Components

 

 

Ensure teachers' participation in a minimum of 30 hours of additional professional development per year as provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education

 

Provide release time for all relevant professional development opportunities

 

Commit to adopting practices that regularly integrate technology with teaching and learning

 

Identify and submit for consideration a candidate for "Keystone: Technology Integrator" if one does not exist in the school

 

Work with the classrooms for the Future coach to identify and address needs, and provide him or her frequent access to classrooms in session.

 

Promote student participation in programs that showcase technoloigy skills, such as the statewide Student Computer Fair.

 

Participate in the annual Pennsylvania Technology Inventory (PaTI) survey

 

Participate in program evaluations
