 A-J Hoenstine (Head Coach/Backs/Defensive Backs) - Coach Hoenstine is set to begin his fourth year at the helm of the Scarlet Dragons after serving as an assistant coach for 6 seasons. He is a 1994 graduate of Central High School and was the quarterback for the 1993 Big 8 Championship Team.  He attended Mansfield University where he played baseball and was honored as an Academic All-American and All-Conference Player.  Coach Hoenstine is a sixth grade science teacher at the Spring Cove middle School.  Coach lives in Martinsburg with his wife Jane and sons Jeffrey and Jay.

Dave Baker (Defensive Coordinator/Tight Ends/Linebackers) - Coach Baker will return to his alma mater to run the defense in 2008.  Dave is  a 1963 graduate of Central High School and a 1967 graduate of IUP.  Coach Baker coached football at Williamsburg High School for 35 years and at Chestnut Ridge for the past 6 years.  He also coached baseball for 23 years and basketball for 21 years at Williamsburg.  Dave and his wife Nancy reside in Roaring Spring.  They have 3 sons; Jay, Matt, and Andy who were all stellar athletes during their playing days.  The Dragon football team and community are glad to have Coach Baker on board for 2008.

Jerry Albright (Offensive Line/Special Teams) - Coach Albright has been part of the CHS program for the past thirteen years and will return to the varsity team this year.  He played center for the Scarlet Dragons  where he anchored the line and played inside linebacker for the District Championship Team in 1990.  Coach Albright has been instrumental in developing our lineman in 7th through 12th grade. Jerry attended St. Francis University and is a Math at Central High School.  Jerry and his wife Bobbi live in Martinsburg with their sons Thad and Brady.

Bill Forshey(Wide Receivers/Linebackers/Special teams) - Coach Forshey has been a part of the Central Football Program for the past sixteen years as well as serving as Head Varsity basketball Coach.  Coach Forshey is a great teacher of the game and makes his players work hard.  He is involved in many summer programs for the youth of our community as well.  Bill is a 1984 graduate of Central High School where he was a three sport athlete.  He attended Slippery Rock University and is currenly a health and physical education teacher at Central.  Bill lives in Martinsburg with wife Tricia and sons Derek, Trent, and Trevor.

Kevin Schneider(Defensive Line/Strength Coordinator) -Coach Schneider is set to begin his sixth year with the Dragons.  He is a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and attended IUP where he was a member of the Crimson Hawk baseball team.  Coach Schneider brings a strong work ethic and great knowledge of physical conditioning to the the Dragons.  Kevin is the physical education teacher at the Spring Cove Middle School.  Kevin lives in East Freedom with his wife Megan.

Scott Black (Special Teams)- Coach Black will continue to help with the special teams this season.  He is a 1991 graduate of Central High School where he led the Scarlet Dragons to their only District Championship in 1990 as their quarterback.  He went on to a very successful career at St. Francis University where he was an all-conference punter as well as a quarterback for the Red Flash.  Coach Black works as an accountant for Barkman Oil Company.  Scott lives in Roaring Spring with his wife Sue and daughter Avery and son Lucas.

Ron Hileman (Offensve Line/Defensive Line) - Coach Hileman will assist with the offensive line in 2008.  Ron is a 1986 graduate of Central High School and a 1989 graduate of Thaddeus Stevens where he was a member of the football team.  Coach Hileman lives in Roaring Spring with his wife Chris and daughters Marlene and Colleen.

Willie Kitt (Head Jr. High Coach) - Coach Kitt begins his sixth year heading the Jr. High Team.  Coach Kitt was an outstanding running back for Central from 1990-1992 where  he still holds many school rushing records.  He attended Lock Haven University where he played fullback for the Bald Eagles.  Coach Kitt teaches third grade at Roaring Spring Elementary School.  Willie lives in Roaring Spring with wife Jess, son Braden and twin daughters Abbie and Annie.

Joe Logan(Offensive/Defensive Line) - Coach Logan  will assist the junior high program and run the defense in 2008.  Coach Logan is a great motivator who gets the most out of his players.  Coach Logan is a graduate of Williamsport High School and Lock Haven University.  He is currently a Social Studies Teacher at Central High School.  Joe and his wife Lisa reside in Martinsburg with their son Josiah.

Joe Greenleaf (Offensive/Defensive Line) - Coach Greenleaf will continue to help out with the junior high program where he brings a wealth of knowledge to the up and coming Dragons.  Joe is a 1987 graduate of Central High School where he was a member of the football and baseball teams.

Mark Lingenfelter (Backs) -Coach Lingenfelter is set to begin his second season assisting at the junior high level.  He is a 1998 graduate of St. Francis University and 2002 graduate of Grace Theological Seminary.  He is the pastor at Leamersville Grace Brethren Church.  He and his wife Angie live in Roaring Spring with their children Hannah, Josiah, and Faith.

Paul Frederick (Backs, Head 7th Grade Coach) - Paul is set to begin his first year as a coach with the program.  He is a 2004 graduate of Central High School where he set many passing records in his playing days as a quarterback for the Dragons.  He graduated from Penn State University in 2008 and resides in Roaring Spring.  Coach Frederick is the alternative education teacher at Central High School.

Jesse Hileman (Backs, Defensive Backs)- Coach Hileman will begin his first year with the junior high in 2008.  He was a standout running back and defensive back for the Dragons graduating in 2004 earning the Blanket Award his senior season.
